Welcome to the Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society Website Welcome to DBHS

News

Did you know that DBHS runs meetings every month of the year, usually with a guest speaker, followed by light refreshments and a raffle?

Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society (DBHS) holds meetings on the first Friday of each month at 7:30pm in Dalgety Bay Community Centre. You are welcome to come along to our meetings and, who knows, you may be convinced to join us. Alternatively go to our website at www.dbhs.org, click on downloads, then membership form, fill it in then send it back. Membership is good value at £4.

If you think you may be interested in joining, please phone, Michael Gourlay on 01383 823425. He will give you all the information you require.

Friday 7th December   DBHS Annual General Meeting

Our meeting in December is our Annual General Meeting. This is a member’s only meeting where we will decide on aspects of business for Dalgety Bay Horticultural Society (DBHS) for example electing any new committee that we require to manage the ‘Society. Nominations this year are required for Chairman, Allotment Manager and Grapevine Editor as well as Committee Members. All existing incumbents are willing to be nominated but we must have nominations so that they can be elected. Two additional Committee Members would be good so if any member reading this, or in fact anyone reading this, who would like to try the Committee, wants to be nominated, please make their name known to the Chairman by emailing him at michaeljg@btinternet.com.
